Assalamualaikum..
In project 5, i was required to make a feeling mask using papier mache as a main medium.
So I decided to make a happy face.
The first step in making this feeling mask is to prepare all the medium needs to make it.
They are, wet news papers, tissue paper (pulp) , tapioca flour as glue wet white A4 paper and wet butter paper.
The second step was, put the wet butter paper which was cut into small pieces onto the face. Fill the face area with butter paper and make the second layer.
Next, apply tapioca flour glue on the layer and put the pieces of small news paper. Again fill the face area. Next, put the tapioca flour glue again and put a layer of tissues. Then, put the glue again, and put the bigger pieces of wet news paper and make it as a layer.
(like a mummy..)
After that, put glue and the layer of tissues once again. Lastly, put 3 layer of wet white A4 papers. Let it dry.
Then, comes the colouring part..
And, this the final outcome.

This mask is a happy face with a smile of a woman as she entering a ball room, attending a masquerade party.
