For the interior part, i choose the living area.

Project 5 - LCP and Layout Plan

In this project, we were required to design a layout plan for the development of our housing area in Kampung Tok Subuh. In a group of 7, we do it together. And all of us agreed to gave the name as Taman Tok Suboh with the design concept of The Clover.

Me, Nur Mastura and Alisa mainly incharged to edit and completing the LCP.

Brochure of our residential area designed by Ariffuddin.

Thanks to our group leader, Norasiah Saleh as she lead us very well in completing this task.
The division of work was carried out earlier to ensure the efficient flow of work. Everyone has their main part. As Norasiah and Nur Syazmimi did a lot for the Layout Plan as well as Bee Lin.
Although everyone was given their respective work, but everyone did touch on every works that we need to complete for this project, helping each other.
Cooperation is the main things here. :)

Project 3 -Shelter

For this project, we were required to design a disaster shelter for one or two people. So, i decided to design a shelter for flood which can load two people.

The design concept and idea :
Leaf and bird's house.
The design details:
Floating shelter. This shelter can float as it's base is provided with steel ponthoon to make it float on water during the flood. It's is designed for 2 people.
it can move up and down with the fluctuating water level during the flood, but it will stay at only one place, as it has a pole. With the solar panel on the roof, it can supply energy for lighting during the night.

The are sleeping area, small pantry, portable toilet and a set of chairs and table.

The flow :
1. Design
2. Model
3. presentation board

 initial idea .

Second project - Chair Design

I'm quite excited with this project actually, at first. I just love designing furniture and anything related to interior.
But, i'm an architecture student actually. but, never mind.

Site visit, to Penang airport and Penang Botanical Garden to get some idea on how my chair will be.
How it can accommodate people in that particular site to sit on it.

The visit to Botanical Garden really enjoying..! I love the calm and cool environment, the green and colourful scene of nature. It's very comfy to be there. The last activity before we leave the place, buy an ice cream, sit in the nature. Heaven. :)

The visit actually gave me an idea to design a comfy chair that people who sit on it will feel the nature.

The concept is nature.. the idea came from the bird's nest and the colours of nature.
it's not so hard to design, the difficult part is making the model.
Need a very high patience level.

Because USM always teach me about sustainable, I'm practising it now by recycling.. -_-"

After all the hardship and test, i finally done the 'naked' model.

After colouring, sewing and decorating, this the final look of my model.

and the name given is

ABYANA..... :)
